Automotive Technician

Location: Dartmouth, NS

Our client is a national vehicle maintenance firm, and they are seeking a Journeyman Automotive Service Technician / Mechanic for their brand-new Dartmouth, Nova Scotia facility.

This may be the best job in Canada. This is a maintenance, minor repairs, and lubrication role. No heavy engine or transmission work.

The facility is beautiful and clean, all tools are supplied, uniforms are supplied, and the work is light and easy.

Base compensation is $81,900 annually. Hours are 8am to 5pm Monday thru Friday. You are paid for the full 9 hours per day as lunch is paid. It equals $39.38 per worked hour based on 8 hours of work.

You must have at least 2 years of work experience in Motor Vehicle Inspections, Preventive Maintenance, and Repairs for Automotive Vehicles, preferably light/medium duty pickups and diesel engines.

Requirements:

• Automotive Service Mechanic/Technician License
• Motor Vehicle Inspection (MVI) license for the province of Nova Scotia (or the ability to get one)
