We are currently looking for a skilled, dedicated person to fill the position of Agricultural & Construction Sales Representative.

The successful candidate for this position will ideally be located in Hampton/Saint John and travel the Southeastern NB region 3-4 days a week. They will be expected to travel at least one day a week to the office in Sussex.

Salary plus commission

Purpose:

Sells new and used Agricultural and Compact Construction equipment to new and existing customers.

 

Responsibilities

  • Represents the company for the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area/store
  • Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership
  • Monitors competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management, accordingly
  • Maintains all customer information in assigned territory for sales management
  • Knows and follows the defined sales process utilizing Quote 2 and other sales tools utilized by dealership
  • Assists with the preparation and execution of all customer events including Aftermarket event
  • Conducts new equipment field demonstrations
  • Monitors trends in customer’s business activities and timely communicates to management
  • Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
  • Attends applicable sales training events/seminars
  • Works with used equipment process to ensure accurate used valuations that mitigate risk and drives a strong equipment trading process
  • Working with Parts and Service departments, recommends and encourages the sale of parts and service products
  • Maintains exceptional customer service
  • Commitment to the Green Diamond and John Deere brand
  • Works to achieve Annual Sales Goals
  • Spends a portion of your time on competitive and conquest customers
  • Utilizes company CRM tool (Handle) and meets requirement of 25 completed Handle calls per week

 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years equipment sales experience required
  • Knowledge of Agricultural and Construction equipment operations and uses is an asset
  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions required
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to continuously learn
  • Professional, Accurate, Articulate
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
