JOB SUMMARY:

The purpose of this position is to provide Information Technology support, solutions, and programming for SharePoint, all Power Platform Apps, SQL Data Import/Export, and Middleware Integration applications utilized by CCWA departments as assigned and to develop and implement automated systems, integrations, and web-based applications.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:      

 

  • Meets with functional users; defines and documents technical requirements for application software; defines and documents system scope, current logical view, general technical requirements and proposed logical view; utilizes structured user interviewing, design and analysis techniques; and provides time and cost estimates for projects.
  • Evaluates existing and new system functionality; determines any requirements not met by current functionality; develops action plan to correct deficiencies; and determines coding additions or changes needed to meet requirements.
  • Develops, modifies, and implements system changes and new solutions in order to meet the objectives of CCWA; utilizes various tools related applicable software as needed; and develops documentation for new system functions and/or updates to existing system documentation.
  • Performs system administration functions in coordination with vendors; utilizes security models; performs and coordinates system backups and maintenance; provides network programming for interface support; and consults with vendors regarding issues, problems, and concerns.
  • Functions as a data analyst and data integrity point of contact; researches, reviews, analyzes, and corrects informational and transactional data within databases; designs, builds, and delivers reports for various end-users cross-departmentally; and audits API integration points for data integrity, functionality, and accuracy.
  • Researches, evaluates, and corrects system malfunctions; troubleshoots problems; recommends, tests, and documents solutions; escalates issues to vendors, as needed; and performs follow-up validation of corrected deliverables with users.
  • Assists system users with test plans including design and optimization of plans; conducts integration and user acceptance tests; and documents test plan and results during updates and upgrades.
  • Assists coworkers in technical and functional areas of expertise; provides training and guidance to users to increase their technical knowledge.
  • Ensures compliance with change management processes used to promote objects to all environments.
  • Performs other assigned duties.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM WORK:

  • Associate’s Degree in Computer Programming, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in developing, programming, or administration of software applications; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in performance of the essential functions and learn, comprehend, and apply all CCWA or departmental policies, practices, and procedures necessary to function effectively in the position.

 

Required Licenses/Certifications:

  • Must maintain a valid GA Driver’s License.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • This position classifies the physical exertion requirements as sedentary work involving lifting no more than 10 pounds at a time and occasionally lifting or carrying articles like docket files, ledgers, and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required occasionally, and other sedentary criteria are met.
  • Tasks typically involve some combination of stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling; tasks may also involve some pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight. Some tasks require the ability to perceive and discriminate colors or shades of colors, sounds, and visual cues or signals. Some tasks require the ability to communicate orally.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:  

  • Essential functions are regularly performed without exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
  • Work is performed in a dynamic environment that requires sensitivity to change and responsiveness to changing goals, priorities, and needs.
  • This position may be on call 24/7.
