Green Diamond Equipment is your Maritime John Deere Dealership with 15 locations to serve you, and we are looking for a skilled, dedicated person to fill the position of Digital Sales Representative at our Truro, NS location.

Purpose:

Promotes new and used equipment to new and existing customers. Their primary role is to generate digital business and correspond with customers in a timely manner and accurately. They will promote all our product lines on a variety of digital platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the digital marketplace of selling equipment and accessories on a variety of platforms
  • Post our equipment on a variety of digital platforms.
  • Responds to leads and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Provides customers with accurate product, finance and availability information.
  • Works with the sales teams to help close leads.
  • Once the lead is passed off to a salesperson, then the job is complete, and you follow up to ensure it is acted upon and the deal is completed.
  • Monitors and develops lead tracking, close rates and times on a monthly basis.
  • Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership
  • Knows and follows the defined sales process utilizing sales tools
  • Assists with the preparation and execution of all customer events
  • Monitors trends in customer’s business activities and timely communicates to management
  • Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
  • Attends applicable sales training events/seminars
  • Working with Parts and Service departments, recommends and encourages the sale of parts and service products
  • Maintains exceptional customer service
  • Commitment to the Green Diamond and John Deere brand
  • Works to achieve Annual Sales Goals
  • Follows Sold & Hold policies
  • Utilizes company CRM tool (Handle)

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

  • 1+ years equipment sales experience
  • Previous digital sales experience
  • Knowledge of equipment operations and uses
  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional, Accurate, Articulate
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
