Full-Time Personal Lines Broker/Customer Service Representative (CSR)
Location: Newmarket, ON
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Salary: Commensurates with experience

Job Overview:
Our client, located in Newmarket, is seeking a Full-time Personal Lines Broker/CSR to join their team. This is an in-office position with working hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing excellent customer service to existing policyholders and must hold a RIBO license in good standing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to policyholders by responding to inquiries
- Provide guidance on insurance products, conduct renewal reviews, process endorsements, and handle new submissions
- Follow up promptly with client requests and ensure timely service delivery
- Accurately input and manage client data within the broker management system
- Document claims and manage the claims resolution process
- Stay updated on industry practices and underwriting guidelines
- Communicate professionally and effectively with underwriters
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Personal Lines Insurance Customer Service
- Proficiency with insurance industry software, including Applied Rating Services (quoting system)
- Knowledge of Powerbroker (Broker Management System)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
