NOTICE OF VACANCY
 
POSITION: Corporate Accounting Analyst
Temporary Full-Time
 
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the day to day corporate accounting functions for the Alliance, including Fixed Assets and Capital Accounting, account reconciliations, Trial Balance Submissions and assisting the rural Hospital Foundations with accounting services.
 
REPORTS TO:        Manager, Finance
 
DATE REQUIRED: As soon as possible
 
SALARY:                   $108,326 per annum 
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
• University degree or College diploma in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline  
• Preference will be given to candidates with or pursuing a CPA (CGA/CMA/CA) designation
• Has completed or willing to take OHA Management Information System (MIS) Level 1&2
 
Experience:
• Three plus years in Finance, preferably in a health care setting
• Experience with integrated hospital information systems, preferably MEDITECH
• The OHRS user guide
• The CIHI M.I.S. Guidelines
 
Abilities:
• Strong aptitude for analysis and interpretation of data
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and other software
• Strong interpersonal, communication skills and customer service focus
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple deliverables simultaneously
• Ability to exercise initiative in solving problems and identifying opportunities
• Ability to think and act independently and work with minimum supervision
• Ability to function within a collaborative team environment
