We are looking for a AZ/DZ drivers with experience in roll off, hydrovac, and dump trucks to join our team for work out of London and surrounding areas.
Local, no long hauls.
Duties:
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Comply with all traffic laws and MTO regulations and requirements.
- Regularly communicate with dispatch and the office
- Daily truck maintenance including end-of-day refueling, greasing, and washing as required including pre/post trip inspections
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- CVOR must be submitted with resume
- Must be 25 years of age or older with a minimum of 3 years DZ/AZ driving experience (insurance requirement).
- Familiarity with London, Woodstock, Sarnia, Goderich, Warwick township, and surrounding areas
- Knowledge of aggregates and construction industry an asset
- Ability to safely load and unload materials using appropriate equipment.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Ability to follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient and timely delivery.
- Attention to detail to maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Knowledge of truck weights, road limitations, and some mechanical aptitude
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience using a GPS
- Basic math skills
