ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform a wide range of carpentry & construction related tasks, including but not limited to:
  • installing beams, assessing & repairing sub-flooring
  • rough framing of showers/curbs/niches, closets and small rooms
  • measuring, cutting and joining materials made of wood or wood substitutes, metal and other building materials
  • sealing around penetrations through the envelope and sealing to windows
  • repairing and renovating wooden and other structures
  • small drywall installations; mudding/taping repairs
  • finishing work - caulking, installing bath accessories into tile, appliance installations, etc

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficient carpentry skills across a broad range of construction tasks such as installing & finishing drywall, rough-framing, finish carpentry, and more
• Comfortable reading building plans, designer elevation drawings & schedules
• Have strong attention to detail and a desire to “do things right” 

• Self-starter with the ability to organize your tools for the next day’s job and complete tasks with minimal supervision 
• Professional in all that you do, respectable to clients and their homes 
• Have your own basic tools & valid driver’s license
