Ecommerce Manager - Hybrid role

This position can be based out of Toronto or Vancouver.

We are seeking a motivated, ambitious B2B E-commerce Manager to join our growing team. We are currently developing a new customer portal and online ordering system, as well as updating and re-platforming our company website. The chosen candidate will be on the ground floor of developing and driving the performance of the company's products on this new channel. You will demonstrate high energy, dedication, and passion for e-commerce, and be able to thrive in a fast-moving, complex environment.

You will partner with our digital marketing, sales, operations, and technical teams to align on the best customer experience strategy for creating a seamless customer journey. You will draw insights from web analytics combined with previous online ordering expertise to help grow sales on the platform.

As an E-commerce Manager, you will create and implement strategies to drive online transactions. You are energetic, collaborative, and results oriented. You are tech-savvy with strong business acumen and can effectively manage multiple projects.


Responsibilities

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to adapt our global partner’s platform to develop an outstanding customer portal
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to re-platform our website to the Magento CMS
  • Create data-driven strategies, incorporating emerging trends, competitor services, and all available analytics, to deliver top performance and achieve KPIs
  • Develop best practices for creation and maintenance of online content
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team on creative marketing initiatives to drive traffic and conversions
  • Support the adaptation of order fulfillment policies and procedures considering online needs
  • Measure order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
  • Support the sales and operations teams in ensuring an excellent customer shopping experience
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders on content that will be shared across e-commerce and associated platforms


Requirements

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, e-commerce, IT, or related field
  • Proven track record of driving traffic and conversions through online channels
  • Excellent understanding of UI, UX, customer flow, and web analytics
  • Experience in integrating an online portal with an ERP
  • Outstanding analytical ability with capability to transform online KPI CX data into actionable insights
  • Knowledge of CMS (ideally Magento), PIM (Akeneo), and DAM (Bynder) platforms
  • Excels in planning, organization, and prioritization of work, including the ability to work to tight deadlines while coordinating multiple projects
  • Able to analyze requests and explain processes
  • Strong skills in Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Assets:

  • Experience in an international context
  • French language skills (written and oral)
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with digital marketing concepts such as SEO, PPC, attribution modelling, and A/B testing
