MACHINE OPERATOR (for door shop) - 4 day work week

Position: Machine Operator

Duties: This role is responsible for the machining and assembly of interior and exterior pre-hung door systems using door specific machines (eg. Norfield).

Shift: Monday to Thursday, 10am to 8:30pm

Compensation (depending on experience): $22 to $25 per hour (includes a $1/hour shift premium)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Carpentry/woodworking experience
• Door shop/industry experience preferred
• Mathematical aptitude
• Able to read a tape measure and understand imperial measurements to the 1/32 on an inch required
• Excellent attention to detail and quality
• Experience with basic hand and power tools (saws, nail guns, pneumatic tools, and drills)
• Able to frequently stand and safely lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs. for entire shift
