Description
Reporting to the VP of Capital Redevelopment, the Project Director, Clinical Liaison & Operational Readiness will be responsible for engagement of all clinical stakeholders from design through to hospital opening. They will lead resolution of design/operational questions and lead the set-up of new systems, processes and training, ensuring the hospital clinical teams are operationally ready for the new hospital opening.
Working as part of the redevelopment team, the successful candidate requires a broad understanding of hospital operations, clinical workflows and stakeholder management. Experience with capital projects would be an asset.

Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing or another relevant clinical discipline
- 5-10 years of progressive experience in related field
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams
- Accredited Member with the applicable Professional Association
- Project management experience
- PMP designation is an asset
- Demonstrated change management skills and experience
- Senior level project planning, development and implementation skills
- Proven experience in effectively managing diverse teams of stakeholders
- Able to work in a fast paced, results, and schedule driven team environment
- Knowledge of Broader Public Sector Procurement Directive and guidelines
- Understanding of Ontario Health and Ministry of Health capital project processes would be an asset
- Highly developed influencing, communications and presentation skills
- Strong consultation, negotiation and consensus building skills
- Experience in finding positive solutions to complex issues and problems with a variety of stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of and experience with confidentiality practices
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
