Heavy Diesel Mechanic with AZ License

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic with an AZ/DZ license to be the custodian of our heavy diesel fleet primarily focusing on annual safeties. This is a full-time position that features seasonal peaks and valleys, providing opportunities to explore various aspects of our agricultural business. We are looking for a team player who can thrive in a dynamic environment with evolving operational priorities. The ideal candidate should be adaptable, flexible, and able to efficiently manage shifting tasks and responsibilities. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse team members to achieve common goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair a fleet of heavy diesel vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal working condition
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Maintain accurate maintenance records
• Seasonal delivery of fertilizer to farm customers
• Report and handle maintenance issues of fleet vehicles
• Must complete safety training upon hire

Qualifications:

• Valid AZ/DZ driver's license with a clean driver abstract
• Certified Heavy Diesel Mechanic
• Extensive experience with heavy diesel vehicle maintenance and repair
• Comfortable driving standard (manual) transmission
• Able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs regularly
• High School Diploma or GED

Working Conditions:

• Work outdoors, including in inclement weather, heat, humidity, and exposure to dust
• Overtime required as necessary, particularly during peak season
• 40-60 hours per week expected

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend and overtime during peak season as required
