Description
The Recruiter, under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, is responsible for delivering all the recruitment needs of Lake of the Woods District Hospital. This will be achieved through the administration of the full-cycle recruitment process, and development and execution of local/community and external recruitment strategy based on various sourcing strategies. The Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring the Hospital prioritizes the effective filling of vacancies to meet staffing needs.

Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experiences. Human Resources diploma or in progress is preferred
- Varied administrative experience. Previous Recruitment experience preferred; having a focus on health care would be considered an asset. Unique combinations of experience and education may be considered.
- Experienced user of technology including MS Office, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and human resource information systems (HRIS)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong customer service orientation, sensitive to client issues and understanding of importance of diplomacy and confidentiality
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize recruitment needs and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail to ensure compliance with recruitment policies and thorough candidate screening
- Class G drivers license, access to a reliable vehicle, and ability to travel to attend off site hospital locations as required and recruitment events
- Reliable attendance record
