Job Title: Research & Innovation Coordinator

Reports to: Director of R&I

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the R&I Project Management, including assigning and balancing R&I project workload
  • Work on day-to-day data entry and project management related tasks
  • Liaise with other internal departments and provide project updates
  • Coordinate projects and project management between Sales & Marketing, R&I, and other related teams
  • Monitor project progress and make or initiate adjustments as needed
  • Assist R&I team in meeting customer sample request submission deadlines
  • Oversee raw material requests and assignments to corresponding R&I chemists
  • Manage R&I projects and follow up on the preparation of marketing samples
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Help prepare meeting minutes, planning, etc. for meetings related to projects
  • Maintain a confidential database of new formulas and existing formulas
  • Consistently maintain a Safe and GMP working environment and comply with company policies and SOPs
  • Execute special projects or tasks as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Chemistry is preferred
  • Self-starter, self-motivated with proactive, and process ownership focus
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced team environment
  • Strong interpersonal & problem solving skills and commitment to providing a high standard of quality work
  • Ability to make and meet commitments/deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
