Description
As a member of the LWDH team, the Project Coordinator supports leaders in Capital Planning, Information Technology and Facilities Management. The coordinator contributes to the achievement of project tasks and objectives, communicating with stakeholders and helping drive projects through to successful completion.
LWDH has several initiatives underway that require a skilled Project Coordinator: launch of an updated Electronic Medical Record; the All Nations Hospital Project being planned on a new campus of care; and several projects updating the aged facilities that will sustain operations until the new hospital. The position will appeal to someone who thrives on variety and enjoys working with a broad range of project stakeholders and consultants. They will be responsible for developing and updating project databases and documentation such as progress reports, schedules, budgets, and risk registers. They will assist with procurement and communication plans.

Qualifications
- A university degree or diploma. Subject areas could include information management, architectural technology, engineering technology, data management, administration, project management. Equivalent education and experience may be considered
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project management, health care or a relevant field
- PMP designation or attainment within eighteen months of hire
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications including Project, Planner, Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.), databases (build tables, write queries, generate reports), MS Teams, Adobe and PowerPoint. Experience with AI is an asset, as well as experience with AutoCAD, and Revu Bluebeam
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- A results-oriented approach with the ability to take initiative and responsibility
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing tasks to meet tight deadlines
- Understanding of financial tracking and reporting
- Understanding of risk management
