Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and have experience in HVAC systems, appliance repair, and refrigeration. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively troubleshoot, maintain, and repair various refrigeration systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems in commercial and residential settings.
• Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues effectively.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on refrigeration units to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and conduct necessary repairs.
• Plumb and weld components as needed for system installations or repairs.
• Build and modify refrigeration systems according to specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed.

Qualifications:

• Certification in HVAC or relevant technical training
• Experience as a Refrigeration Technician or in a similar role
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on HVAC systems
• Familiarity with wiring diagrams and controls
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
