OPERATIONS MANAGER FOR BANQUET HALL
We are looking for an Operations Manager for our banquet hall. This position is available immediately, and will be an important asset to the our team. We are looking for a candidate with relevant or similar experience, and that is looking to elevate their current career in operations.
The primary role of this person will be to assist the General Manager in the food and beverage operation. The position is also responsible for supporting, training, and coaching the operations team, and to ensure an exceptional level of service to the guests.
Responsibilities
- Ensure successful operations of all catering functions to a high standard.
- Order and control of all liquor beer and wine.
- Order of all table linen as requested by the organizer.
- Schedule of all waiting and bar staff.
- Identify and execute training requirements for all departments.
- Review and oversee all front of house budgets
- Oversee all set ups for each event to ensure high standards.
- Successfully run functions, ensuring a consistent and high level of service.
- Ensure that all areas operate to the same standards and systems and highlight any discrepancies.
- Ensure payroll is submitted to the accounts manager on a biweekly basis
- Oversee the maintenance of Bellagio and report and fix any deficiencies
- Support the house management in any activity that is required
- Inspect all banquet areas for cleanliness and maintenance on a regular basis.
- Review all catering trends.
Qualifications and Skills
- 5+ years experience in the hospitality industry
- 3+ years experience in organizational operations
- Experience in an administration
- Ability to commute to reliably commute or plan to relocate Concord, ON
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $60,000+ per year
