Electromechanical Technician
Salary Range: $20.27 to $33.52 Hourly

This position will include Shift Work.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and perform moderate repairs in a highly automated factory
  • Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance inspections and repairs
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams for timely repairs when necessary
  • Work safely and independently
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Electro mechanics: Repair automated mechanical systems
  • Test, operate, and maintain robotic and automated packaging equipment 
  • Troubleshoot computer-controlled production equipment

 

Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum grade 12 diploma
  • Red Seal Journeyman Industrial Mechanic / Millwright would be considered an asset
  • Stainless steel welding and fabrication experience would be considered an asset
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment would be considered an asset
  • Strong technical understanding of automated production processes operating through a PLC.
  • Ability to keep mechanical equipment operating safely and effectively
  • Knowledgeable in using meters to diagnose electrical circuits
  • Able to work shift work
