We are a busy printing company that is currently looking for experienced Folder Operators to join our production facility in Mount Forest, ON.

This position is responsible for the set-up, operation, and maintenance of our folding machines. This role is essential in ensuring that all materials are handled accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall workflow of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate folder machines to fold paper or other materials according to job specifications.
• Adjust machine settings such as speed, fold size, and alignment to meet production requirements.
• Inspect materials before and after folding to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on folder machines, including clearing jams and performing routine adjustments.
• Monitor the production line to ensure continuous flow, and identify and resolve any operational issues or inefficiencies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to comply with safety and sanitation regulations.
• Record production data, including the number of units folded and any machine malfunctions or repairs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating folder machines or in a production environment is preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and make minor repairs to machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve quality issues quickly.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift materials up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
