Our company has been servicing the retail, corporate, hospitality, entertainment and institutional industries across Canada and the USA by providing custom architectural and construction solutions in Millwork, Metal, Plastics, Glass and fixtures. Duties:

Cabinet Makers perform some or all of the following duties:

  • Document use– refer to assembly or shop drawings and blueprints to check details, Studies plan or prepares specifications
  • Marks outlines or dimensions of parts of wood
  • Operate woodworking machines and use hand tools to cut, shape and form parts and components
  • Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit using glue and clamps and reinforce joints
  • Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish to finished products
  • Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures and related products

 

Working conditions:

  • Working indoors in a shop environment
  • Airborne sawdust
  • May handle equipment or supplies that weigh over 25 kilos

 

Employment Requirements:

  • 1-3 Years Cabinet Making or Carpentry (Junior)
  • 4+ Years Cabinet Making or Carpentry (Intermediate to Senior)
  • Completion of secondary school preferred 
  • Completion of Woodworking Program is considered a strong asset

  • Regular hours, Monday To Friday - 7:30 PM to 4: 00PM  , Overtime hours from Monday to Thursday - 4:00 PM to 6: 00 PM & Saturday - 7:30 AM To 12:00 PM
  •  Our Company pays 1.5x rate over 40 hours per week, with up to 12.5 hours weekly of overtime.
