Job Description Summary of Position:

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Industrial Maintenance Millwright is a full-time position, responsible for installing, inspecting, adjusting and repairing equipment to support the Huntsville Mill while following safety rules and regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• The incumbent must possess a valid: • “Red Seal” Certificate – Industrial Mechanic Millwright - preferred or; • “Red Seal” Certificate – General Machinist with minimum of 4 years practical millwrighting experience

Responsibilities:

• Support asset team to deliver continuously improvement of the performance using Standard Work, TPM, Predictive technologies, Preventative plans and Lean Tools

• Work with various mill teams to troubleshoot, repair, replace, install, maintain, use, and or rebuild, the following:

• Industrial machinery, mechanical equipment and components including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, fuel, lubrication, cooling and exhaust systems, and pumps, fans, agitators, tanks, conveyors, presses, generators and pneumatic and hydraulic controls • Use of tools, machines, equipment and rigging and hoisting to facilitate preventative maintenance, installation, removal and repairs of equipment

• Use precision tools such as laser alignment equipment, dial indicators, micrometers and optical alignment levels

• Use testing equipment such as vibration analysis, ultra sonic analysis, as well as other techniques used in predictive and preventive maintenance

• Provide active service when required during overtime conditions and or call-ins

• Use a computerized maintenance system to identify work, plan assigned work and maintain equipment repair and preventative maintenance history

• Supervision of contractors during new installation and routine maintenance

• Manage self in accordance with the One K-C Behaviors

• This role will be resource shared within the mill with potential assignment to an asset team dependent on business needs Essential Accountabilities

• Technical: Demonstrates technical knowledge and skills and initiative in applying those skills, including writing of Job Element Sheets • Continual Improvement in Self: Certified in all curriculums associated with own position and show continued interest in training up for next level via the University of Huntsville training materials Flexibility

• Willing to work day and night shift and flex schedule based on business needs

Working Conditions:

• Industrial environment (noise, dust, moving equipment, etc.)

• May include prolong periods of standing, along with occasional bending, reaching, lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs, climbing, twisting, stooping etc.
