Job Duties:
· Scaling/preparing minor ingredients according to formula
· Loading and unloading ingredients in to specified containers/mixing bowl
· Retrieve boxes/bags of ingredients and replenish ingredient bins as needed
· Filling in pre-shift inspections/pre-ops, accurate and timely record keeping
· Comply with all applicable legislative and our food safety, health and safety and environmental policies and procedures.
· Follow production schedule to ensure production is running on time
· Complete accurate and timely records for production
· Report any quality and/or process variation to the Production Supervisor in a timely manner
· Capable of handling a continuous bakery line
· Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor
· Maintain general cleanliness of the work area
· Other labor duties as needed
In order to be successful in this role, you should:
· Previous experience in a food manufacturing and knowledge of SAP system is an asset.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Ability and skills to quickly acquire knowledge of our baking process and products.
· Strong communication and math skills.
· Ability to work 8 hour shift
