We have over 60 years of experience specializing in the design, manufacture, and custom fabrication of engineered polyethylene systems for water, wastewater, and storm water management applications.  Our company offers its clients full service engineering support in the design and manufacture of custom systems to meet their project’s specific requirements.

We are currently looking for energetic and qualified individuals, to work as Shipper/Receiver in our Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Shipping Department.  The responsibilities of this role include the loading/unloading of tractor trailers, processing orders for shipment, and inventory counts as required.  This individual must have previous experience with operating heavy equipment (large wheel loaders or fork trucks).

 
 

WE REQUIRE:

 

 

  • 3+ years previous related experience in a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of the position,
  • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, year-round,
  • Must have previous forklift experience, with preference given to operators who have experience with 20,000 – 30,000 lb forklifts,
  • Must have valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record,
  • Experience with FIFO inventory management and scan gun technology, as it applies to shipping and receiving, would be an asset,
  • Must be physically fit (able to lift at least 50 lbs on a regular basis),
  • Must have previous experience with various hand and power tools required for the packaging of products,
 
 

MAIN TASKS ARE:

 

 

  • Sorting, packaging, and loading finished product onto flatbed trucks,
  • Verify all inbound and outbound shipments through inspecting, and counting/measuring for correct quantities,
  • Check product for accuracy, while ensuring timely delivery of incoming/outgoing products,
  • Place stock in assigned locations; organize and maintain stock holding areas,
  • Participate in periodic inventory of shipping area,
  • Deliver materials to the plant, including starter pipe and other supplies. Deliver product from plant to the shipping loading and storage areas,
  • Prepare shipments by pulling, assembling, palletizing, stretch wrapping, packaging, and labeling product.
