Duties:

• Perform food preparation and production tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow safe food handling policies, procedures, and recipes
• Ensure portion control, temperature, and appearance of food items as per standard

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will have prior cooking experience
• Experience in an institutional setting with an emphasis on scratch and high quantity cooking preferred
• Ability to read, write and understand directions
• Ability to work both independently or as part of a team
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend throughout the work day
• Ability to lift, stack and maneuver objects that may weigh up to 50 lbs
