POSITION: Guest Services Supervisor

DEPARTMENT: Recreation

REPORTS TO: Recreation Manager

STATUS OF POSITION: Seasonal

Position Summary

 

The Guest Services Supervisor is responsible for working with the Recreation Manager to ensure the daily operations of the department are running smoothly. The Supervisor will train and oversee the staff and ensure they are complying with department standards. The supervisor will ensure that the entire department is providing outstanding customer services at all times. Additional duties will include scheduling staff based on department needs. Guest Services supervisor will also assist in guest conflict and solution.  

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and supervise the day to day functions of Guest Services
  • Coordinate and train all Guest Service staff with the Recreation Manager
  • Help to develop and maintain the standard operational procedure for Guest Service department
  • Assist with guest concerns, general incidents, accident reports and trouble shooting
  • Resolve guest problems in an efficient and courteous manner
  • Assist new employees and continually coach them on standards of service
  • General administration and customer service duties including sales, deposits, customer information, complaints, special events, groups, filing, and customer inquiries.
  • Strive to continually improve safety, service and job satisfaction

  • Support an environment of empowerment for team and colleagues with the resources, tools and support they need to encourage them to anticipate and exceed our guests’ expectations

 

Qualifications:

  • Excellent knowledge of the ski industry
  • Previous customer service experience necessary
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to supervise a large team and work in a fast pace environment
  • General knowledge of the Resort and its offerings
  • Will require an outgoing, helpful, and friendly demeanor on a daily basis
  • Reliability and punctuality are imperative
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Available to work evenings, every weekend and holidays
