We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Markham, Ontario.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all incoming and outgoing freight, storage of the freight and supplies in the warehouse;
  • Maintains a clean and organized warehouse;
  • Unloads products safely and promptly from delivery trucks, and properly places in the warehouse;
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments;
  • Oversees the warehouse layout to maximize use of space;
  • Supervise warehouse persons across all the warehouses;
  • Accurately, efficiently, and safely picks and assembles customer orders;
  • Conducts spot inventory counts;
  • Maintain and optimize inventory stock levels and identify obsolete and/or surplus stock;
  • Demonstrate commitment to an injury-free environment through own actions and mentoring others;

 

Requirements:

  • Excellent Customer service skills
  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse or related occupation are required;
  • Basic Computer skills – Windows, Internet, Email, Excel, Word etc;
  • Ability to bend, lift, and reach during course of shift;
  • Previous experience with WHMIS and other safety systems;
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
  • Experience in driving Forklift
