Experienced Water Restoration Technician - Full Time

Signing Bonus: For IICRC WRT certified technicians with minimum 1-year hands-on experience: $500 bonus upon signing. Additional $500 at the successful completion of 3-month probation period.

Our ideal candidate:

  • 2 or more years’ Water Damage Experience
  • IICRC Certification
  • Positive, friendly, youthful nature
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Valid BC Driver's License
  • Clean criminal record
  • Available for on call work (overtime rates apply)

 

Role Overview:

Duties include: performing all aspects of cleaning, emergency mitigation and structural drying services, customer service, paperwork, health & safety, etc.

 

What You Will Be Doing: 

  • Work with Project Managers in assessing and processing flood and fire damage
  • Use moisture testing instruments, assist in writing the job scope, layout the drying protocol and moisture mapping plan
  • Organize and arrange appropriate equipment and materials
  • Communicate, direct and delegate tasks to labourers
  • Related paperwork
  • Ensure site protection is installed properly
  • Accurately calculate, necessary equipment required for each job
  • Organize and run jobs
  • Practice on the job safety and encourage safety among the team
  • Order, pick up and return equipment from warehouse or outside facilities
  • Take asbestos samples and deliver specimens to the lab
  • Provide onsite training for technicians and labourers
