We are a chair systems solution company with more than 50 years of experience in plastic injection moulding. We have made it our business to offer sophisticated components made from various plastics to leading office furniture manufacturers worldwide. 

 

The Processing Specialist will be responsible for ensuring seamless production processes are implemented and upheld in our North American and European operations, this includes international travel to our parent and sister companies.   This position will ensure standardized production processes are in place, advise on technology and process improvements, including efficiency improvements, new strategic technology initiatives or plant retrofits.

Duties Include:

  • Working with operational leaders to further develop and implement production processes locally and at sister companies to ensure high efficiency, low scrap, and consistent product quality
  • Traveling to sister companies to observe and make recommendations, coordinate and implement consistent processes as well as installations
  • Championing the validation of process modification assumptions through fact-based data gathering and well-documented trials
  • Interfacing with suppliers and BNA key stakeholders
  • Champion in the establishment of direct cost savings resulting from reduction of cycle times, scrap reduction, efficiency improvements and set up time efficiency improvements.
  • Champion in the presentation/implementation of potential changes
  • Utilize problem solving skills to ensure all safety, quality and product cost expectations are being met

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in product development, process design, trouble shooting or equipment optimization in the injection molding industry
  • University or college degrees in a related and/or complementary field is considered an asset
  • Very knowledgeable in injection moudling equipment, and experience with equipment selection and coordinating installation
  • Well versed in raw material types, PAGF is ideal
  • The ability to take initiative, work proactively and respond to critical business problems with a high sense of urgency
  • Able to travel locally and abroad
  • Superior organizational and time management skills.
