Work Hours:

• Monday - Friday
• 5 AM start time
• 12 HR days

Location: Ottawa, ON

Responsibilities:

• Operating equipment and tools
• Assist with emergency & spill response
• Pressure blasting & washing
• Removal & disposal of hazardous waste
• Remediation of contaminated areas
• Confined space, working at heights
• Digging holes and trenches
• Securing and safely loading/unloading vehicles with equipment and supplies
• Secure work area and set up traffic control
• Other duties as required.

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift over 50lbs
• 2 years of general labourer experience required
• 2 years of operating heavy equipment required
• G class drivers’ license required
• Must have a clean abstract
• Must be able to work on-call rotation (every 3 weeks)
• Fall Protection/Working at Heights and Confined Space experience an asset
