CNC Lathe Operator

We are a contract manufacturer of components and subassemblies used in medical research and diagnosis, narcotic and explosive trace detection, satellite attitude, and navigation and electric vehicle manufacturing.  Our customers are global leaders in their respective fields of medical equipment, security and defense, satellite manufacturing, and EV vehicles.

Role Overview

The CNC lathe operator position will be required to perform tasks involving operating, loading, and unloading of CNC lathes and perform in-process quality checks to ensure conformance to drawing specifications and other similar duties.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and operate CNC lathe machines
• Perform visual and measure quality checks
• Clean parts and machines in-process
• Promote a safe and healthy working environment
• Maintain housekeeping standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years experience
• Experience in a machine shop
• The ability to understand and follow instructions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Desire to learn new skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good hand eye coordination
