Industrial Engineering Technologist
Responsibilities
- Develop and conduct production, inventory, and quality assurance programs
- Design plant layouts and production facilities
- Develop and carry out work study
- Conduct work measurement or other studies
- Develop and carry out health, safety, and fire prevention plans
- Conduct safety training programs
- Collect and analyze data and samples
- Develop manufacturing and processing procedures
- Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports
- Set machine or equipment controls, oversee production, and inspect processes
- Recommend improvements in inspection, licensing, and safety standards
- Follow-up on issues with work orders
- Prepare bidding documents, participate in contract negotiations, and award construction contracts
Requirements
- Computer and technology knowledge
- File management software experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including: MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Windows
- Experience with industrial processes and biological studies
- Product development experience
- Industrial operations and maintenance
- Fabrication experience
- Able to pass a criminal record check
