Industrial Engineering Technologist

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct production, inventory, and quality assurance programs
• Design plant layouts and production facilities
• Develop and carry out work study
• Conduct work measurement or other studies
• Develop and carry out health, safety, and fire prevention plans
• Conduct safety training programs
• Collect and analyze data and samples
• Develop manufacturing and processing procedures
• Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports
• Set machine or equipment controls, oversee production, and inspect processes
• Recommend improvements in inspection, licensing, and safety standards
• Follow-up on issues with work orders
• Prepare bidding documents, participate in contract negotiations, and award construction contracts

Requirements

• Computer and technology knowledge
• File management software experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including: MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Windows
• Experience with industrial processes and biological studies
• Product development experience
• Industrial operations and maintenance
• Fabrication experience
• Able to pass a criminal record check
