Heavy-Duty Technician  

Location: Edmonton, AB  (10 Minutes West)

Our Alberta-based company is an independently owned transportation company operating throughout Western Canada. We have been serving the transportation, construction, petrochemical, agricultural, and forestry industries for over 40 years.

We are seeking an experienced Heavy-Duty Technician to join our team. Journeyman certification is an asset, however apprentices will be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean workspace
• Write and manage work orders
• Perform rebuilds as required
• Adhere to Health and Safety, Violence and Harassment and Fit for Duty policies

Qualifications:

• Heavy Equipment Technician experience and skills
• Journeyman or Red Seal certification (or registered apprentice)
• Engine and electrical experience
• Experience using computers to enter repair work orders
• Proficiency with OEM diagnostic software and tools
• Valid driver's license to operate equipment for testing purposes
• Personal set of tools

Assets:

• CVIP Certification
• Welding/fabrication skills

Salary/Benefits:

• $42 - $50/hour for journeyman depending upon skillset and experience.

Schedule

• 8 days on, 6 Days off
• No late night
• Service truck call out optional
