Inventory Control Clerk

 We’re looking for self-sufficient, motivated Inventory Control Clerk for our Hamilton, ON branch, located at 363 Arvin Ave. Stoney Creek, ON L8E 2M6, who want to help us expand our fast-growing business.

 

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain current inventory levels, including reconciliation of stock volumes compared to reports
  • Implement inventory procedures
  • Monitor slow moving inventory
  • Inspect product shipments for accuracy and resolve discrepancies between purchases orders and what was received
  • Approve invoices for payment
  • Receive stock and deal with vendors if discrepancy appears
  • Process and document returns
  • Process interbranch transfers

 

Requirements

  • 2 years warehouse inventory control experience
  • Data base management skills
  • Ability to analyze data and resolve issues
  • Organized, detail oriented, reliable
  • Forklift experience and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Experience working in high volume/transaction environment
  • Be reliable and a team player
