We are looking for an Electrician to join our manufacturing team in Hamilton, ON. The Electrician is in a Red Seal certified position, and is responsible for the electrical wiring duties to assist in the assembly of equipment.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Use electrical schematics and closely follow engineering specifications and/or verbal instructions to understand wiring requirements.
  • Efficiently utilize all wiring equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues.
  • Ensure adherence to customer specifications as set forth by the Project Manager.
  • Ensure that the work area is clean, safe, and orderly by following 5S standards.
  • Take proper care of tools and make sure they are returned to their proper locations daily.
  • Perform electrical building maintenance as required.
  • May be required to assist with on-site support (travel within North America).

Requirements:

  • Red Seal Electrician (442A or 309A)
  • 3+ years experience as an Electrician
  • AC-DC industrial wiring knowledge
  • Completed electronic courses pertaining to PLC
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Proficiency in pneumatics considered an asset
  • Able to work from Monday to Thursday, 7 AM to 4:30 PM, Friday 7 AM to 11:30 AM, and enjoy the afternoon off.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to perform repetitive motions 
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs without limitations
  • Stand for prolonged periods
  • Able to work in variations of temperatures (summer heat)
