Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 (dependent on experience)


Job Summary

As the Operations Manager of the branch you are responsible for leading your team in delivering exceptional customer service. Ensure all procedures and safety protocols are followed at all times. Couple this with the ability to identify where individuals require support, training, and corrective action. To be able to communicate with each person respectfully and in consideration of their individual learning style. Being a leader for team members is critical when faced with difficult situations, and backing them up when individuals within or without the organization are sidestepping procedures, or behaving inappropriately. As the Operations Manager in our Hamilton Branch location you will have a seat along side our inside sales representatives and participate in their daily functions, i.e.: producing sales orders, answering the phone and serving our walk-in clients.

Responsibilities
• Participate as an active member of the Safety Committee.
• Support and assure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Ensure that all branch personnel understand the overall company objectives and that they work together as a team.
• Reinforce continuously respectful communication between all departments.
• Set reasonable goals with deadlines for completion and monitor the compliance of direct reports.
• Display a willingness to make decisions, exhibit sound and accurate judgment and make timely decisions.
• Look for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
• Help maintain positive employee relations to keep morale high at the branch.
• Act as liaison between Inside and Outside Sales representatives as well as warehouse operations.
• Research and resolve high level customer and order issues.
• Resolve high level inventory discrepancies.
• Develop and foster excellent customer relations

Qualifications & Requirements
• 3 years experience in Operations Management
• Proven leadership for successful day to day operations of a branch
• Ability to plan, direct & coordinate daily routines
• Ability to exceed customer expectations
• Possess basic computer knowledge including Lotus Notes
• Able to speak, read & write in English
