Bud Heaven is on track to be the first legal cannabis retailer in Muskoka, located in Bracebridge, Ontario. We are privileged to have the opportunity to serve the Muskoka cannabis community and we seek to hire our team from the local community.  Our business culture is based on a passion for cannabis, supporting our customers' well-being, integrity, inclusiveness, and diversity. Our knowledgeable team will spend the necessary time to assist customers to learn about cannabis and accessories, so they purchase the products that meet their needs.  Customers that know what they want to purchase can expect us to provide efficient in-store and online processes so they can make purchases swiftly and get on with their day.  Bud Heaven is technologically savvy, as we utilize technology to optimize our operations and customers' experience.

 

Opportunity

Bud Heaven is hiring Assistant Store Managers on a full-time, permanent basis and seasonal basis.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Optimize customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Manage and inspire a team of up to 20 people in a hectic retail environment
  • Create and measure Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and integrity of financials
  • Aggregate customer feedback to improve offerings to them
  • Recruitment, training, scheduling, payroll
  • Managing POS system and cash management
  • Create and follow operational rules, government regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Merchandise the store

 

Requirements

  • Experienced retail store manager or customer service experience;
  • Post-secondary education; bachelor degree (preferred)
  • Positive attitude, high energy, persistent, diligent
  • Good with numbers, accurate, and strong attention to detail
  • Exemplary leadership characteristics
  • Excellent communicator to all levels of team and customers
  • Previous cannabis sales experience (preferred)
  • Professional with excellent organizational skills
  • Works well with others, alone and with little supervision
  • Respected by your team because you lead by example, with honesty and integrity
  • Knowledge of and/or ability to learn about cannabis products
  • Tech-savvy, proficient in MS Office and POS systems
  • High level of ethics, values, integrity, and trust
  • Flexible availability – including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Passion for Cannabis
  • At least 19 years old
  • Criminal record check and provincial retail cannabis training and certification is mandatory prior to starting work
