POSITION:  Horseshoe Ambassador
DEPARTMENT:  Guest Experience & Events
REPORTS TO:  Events and Sales Manager
EMPLOYMENT STATUS:  Winter Seasonal

Position Summary
Horseshoe Ambassadors are responsible for acting as helpful representatives of the resort, making customer service and the health and safety of our guests their top priority! They take pride and show ownership in their customer service interactions, attention to detail, and ensuring that all guests’ spaces are cleaned to the highest standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide information to guests about COVID-19 policies and procedures, and what we are doing as a resort to keep our guests safe
  • Ensure all public areas are well maintained and cleaned to resort standards
  • Responsible for counting & controlling the number of guests that enter and exit our cafeteria spaces to adhere to government regulations
  • Ensure that all guests are maintaining physical distancing and following all provincial COVID-19 policies as they continue to be updated
  • Providing face coverings & hand sanitizer to guests, as needed
  • Rotate through guest-facing stations around the resort, as needed, to assist the operation of other departments – both indoors & outdoors
  • Assist with the execution of resort activities and events, as needed
  • Responsible for all other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • Possess an outgoing personality with excellent communication & customer service skills
  • Able to work effectively both independently & as part of a team, with minimal supervision
  • Able to be on your feet for a full shift, up to 8 hours or more
  • Flexible with scheduling & available to work most (if not all) weekends, holidays, & some evening shifts, as business levels require
  • Able to multitask & easily adjust to changes, challenges, and a rapid work environment
  • Remain friendly & composed when interacting with confused or frustrated guests, reaching solutions & seeing their concerns through to completion; treat every guest as a VIP
