POSITION:                             WAREHOUSE INVENTORY TECHNICIAN                      

DEPARTMENT:                    MANAGEMENT

Issues parts and supplies to be used on CCWA projects ensuring items are charged to correct work orders and/or cost centers using JDE Inventory.  Checks daily printouts from data entered into the computer system for accuracy.  Issues hydrant meters to contractors and developers and enters monthly reading.  Maintains accuracy of perpetual inventory through physical inventory counts and comparisons to the database.

Cleans, organizes and maintains warehouse and yard area. Maintains accuracy of perpetual inventory through daily physical counts using DSI and JD Edwards Software.  Uses forklift to load/unload materials on CCWA and Contractor trucks and trailers.  Receives daily deliveries of materials for the complex and delivers them to correct offices and buildings.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in maintenance and/or construction, and knowledge of inventory control procedures.  Experience using handheld scan guns preferred.  Must have a Georgia driver’s license with a good driving record.  Must also have good computer skills with working knowledge of JDE and Cayenta.  Must possess a forklift certification or be able to attain one within three months of selection.

PAYGRADE:                         13H (starts at $16.665/hour)
