Position Summary

This year we are excited to be growing our bike offerings and programs and we are looking for keen and experienced individuals to join our Bike Shop team. The Bike Shop Attendant/Mechanic will be responsible for providing customer service and bike shop maintenance to all customers who visit the Bike Shop.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain rental fleet bikes in safe working condition
• Provide customer bike repair and bike maintenance services 
• Care for all tools and equipment and ensure bike maintenance and retail area is kept clean and organized
• Be knowledgeable of the products available in the retail shop and provide guests with exceptional service
• Sell products in the retail shop and be able to use the POS system to process transactions
• Purchase supplies when necessary and order repair parts 

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a bike mechanic
• Previous experience working in a retail setting an asset
• Experienced mountain biker and knowledge of bike parts and services
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed
