POSITION: MEDICAL RADIATION TECHNOLOGIST
General X-Ray
Location: Seaforth & Clinton
Regular Part-time

POSITION SUMMARY: The Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) is responsible for the safe, effective and efficient performance of a variety of procedures. The MRT will use independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative in the application of ionizing radiation.

REPORTS TO: Manager, Medical Imaging

DATE REQUIRED: As soon as possible

SALARY: $32.43 to $43.46 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Registered with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario CBMD certification/ADT accreditation or equivalent required

EXPERIENCE:
- General X-Ray experience required
- Clinical experience in the area of BMD preferred.

ABILITIES:
- Able to maintain an effective working relationship with patients, physicians, hospital staff and the public
- Able to work all shifts, including standby, on a rotational basis
- Available to work extra shifts or overtime during volume overload situations.
